A woven wave spring is created by interlocking two wave springs of similar thickness, amplitude, and frequency. The two interlocked wave springs are joined together by connecting them in a way that the waves of each spring are in contact with each other for most of the length of the woven section.
This weaving effectively increases the thickness of the spring coils, thereby providing increased load capacity and greater fatigue resistance.
Woven wave springs are available on request from TFC. Our engineers are available to assist with spring design. For more information, please send an email to Enquiries@tfc.eu.com
